Email Notifications for Product Price Changes

Email Notifications for Product Price Changes

To help you stay informed about pricing changes across your store, Hike now automatically sends email notifications to admin and manager users whenever a product's price is updated. This ensures greater transparency and helps maintain control over inventory and pricing updates.

Whenever the price of a product is changed manually from product page, an automated email is sent to all users assigned the role of Admin and Manager.

This feature is disabled by default for all users, You can activate this in the General settings if required. You can tick the option 'Email admin when product price is manually changed from the web' from general settings.
Please note when the price is updated through importing a product file or is changed through integrations, it will not send an automated email.

The email will include following details:
  1. Name/SKU of the product
  2. Previous price
  3. Updated price
  4. User who made the change
  5. Date and time of change
