Setting Up Your Device

Getting started is straightforward:

Unbox and Place the Dock: Position the Printer Dock on your counter in a convenient location.
Connect the Power: Plug the power adapter into the Printer Dock and into a wall outlet.
Connect Peripherals: Connect your cash drawer and barcode scanner to the available ports on the dock.
Dock the Tablet: Simply place the Hike POS tablet onto the magnetic dock. It will snap into place, connecting to power and peripherals automatically.
Power On: Press the power button on the tablet. The per-installed Hike POS app will launch, and you can log in to your account.

Your system is now ready to process sales and print receipts.


 
Connecting Peripherals

The Printer Dock is the hub for all your essential equipment.

Cash Drawer: Connect to the RJ12 port on the dock. It will be triggered automatically when a transaction is completed.
Barcode Scanner: Plug your USB scanner into one of the USB-A ports on the dock. It should be recognized instantly.
Networking: For a more stable connection, use the RJ45 Ethernet port on the dock.
