Using Add-ons in Hike POS
Overview
Hike POS now offers Add-ons, a flexible way to enhance your POS system with specialized features. With Add-ons, you can select and pay for only the features you need, either through a monthly or yearly payment plan.
If you prefer to stick with your current plan, no action is required—Add-ons are entirely optional. If you don’t need them, your current plan and features remain unchanged.
How Add-ons Work:
Choose from optional Add-ons to boost your Hike POS capabilities.
Current Add-ons:
1. Serial Number Tracking: Track serial numbers for inventory items and sales transactions. Please check below detailed article on how to use Serial number tracking with Hike.

2. Age Verification: Validate customer age during checkout for restricted products (e.g., Guns, alcohol, tobacco). Please check below article to know more about age verification feature.

You will be able to use the Add-on based on your current Hike plan. If you are currently on yearly plan, your add-on plan will be yearly. If you are on Hike monthly plan, your add-on will also be monthly.
How to Enable Add-ons
Log in to your Hike POS and navigate to Store set-up >> Add-ons
Select the Add-on(s) you want (e.g., Serial Number Tracking or Age Verification). Click on Activate option, confirm payment details.
Once the payment is successful, the Add-on will activate immediately!
Remove an Add-on: Go to Add-ons and click on De-activate option next to the Add-on you wish to remove. Once completed, it will expire at the end of your billing cycle.

Q: How much do Add-ons cost?
A: Pricing varies by each country. Please Check the Add-ons page in to check the yearly and monthly price for each Add-on
Q: Can I switch between monthly and yearly plans later?
A: The add-ons are attached to your Hike plus plan. When you change your Hike plus plan to yearly or monthly, the add-on will change as well.
Q: What if I decide to add a feature later?
A: No problem! Add-ons can be activated at any time.
Q: Will removing an Add-on affect my existing data?
A: No. Historical data (e.g., past serial numbers or age checks) remains accessible.
Q: Are refunds available if I cancel an Add-on mid-cycle?
A: Add-ons are non-refundable, but they’ll expire at the end of your paid period.
