How Sync Now Button Works in Hike WooCommerce Integration

Sometimes, the sync between Hike and WooCommerce may fail. In this scenario, you may need to manually trigger the sync of a particular individual item, by using the SYNC NOW feature.  In order to access this feature, you need to ensure you have already activated your WooCommerce Integration.

Here are the places where you can access the SYNC NOW feature.
  1. Sales History Invoices
  2. Products
  3. Customers
To perform a manual sync of an individual item, please locate the entry, e.g. the product that you want to sync. Then, you can click on the sync icon, as highlighted in the image below.



A window will slide out, listing all the sync logs of that particular data entry. Please click on SYNC NOW to trigger the manual sync of that item.


Hike will then check if there have been any changes done to that item since the last sync is performed, and will sync that item to WooCommerce if any change has been made, or the other way around if WooCommerce holds the latest data.

Why isn't any sync log added after I click on SYNC NOW?

If no sync log has been added after you click on SYNC NOW, it could be due to 2 reasons.
  1. The sync hasn't been triggered yet. If another sync is still running, the new sync will not be triggered. You can check the sync process log to see whether any other sync is running.
  2. No sync is required. You may not have made any changes to the data entry since the last sync was completed.
