How to Manage Xero - Error Log

Hike enables you to integrate with Xero to manage inventory, customers, suppliers, and purchase orders.

INTEGRATIONS - ERROR LOG

This section will be relevant if you ever wish to investigate any issues with your data syncing between Hike and Xero. This may be required if there was a sync error, that you now wish to correct.

Having already activated your Xero account, you will find the ERROR LOG option to the right on the integration page.

Click on ERROR LOG to check the sync errors.

Having clicked on ERROR LOG, you would now be seeing the below screen.

This page provides the details of any errors that occurred while syncing with Xero.

  • Complete the date range of what time frame you wish to view the logs.

The table goes on to provide the following information

  • Entity

    It shows the section of the error

  • #

    It shows the reference number of the error

  • Name in Hike

    It will show the name of the data in Hike

  • Name in Xero

    It will show the name of the data in Xero

  • Sync status

    It will show the sync status whether it's successful or otherwise

  • Reason

    It will show the reason for the error
