Tip: How can I use a previously sold Gift card as a payment if Gift card option is inactive

As per client requests, sometimes businesses do not sell Gift cards temporarily and keep the Gift card option inactive. However, they still want to use the already-sold Gift cards as the payment method for customers.

To resolve this, we have provided the option, Temporarily suspend Gift card sales, in the Gift cards where you can still make the payment using past sold Gift cards.

With this option selected, you can still use the already sold Gift cards on the POS payment page for customer. However, you will not be able to issue new Gift cards to customers.
This feature is supported in Hike Plus plan.
