The below table helps explain what happens between Shopify and Hike when they talk to each other, what data gets shared, and under which circumstances it happens.

Auto sync (Two way or One way) from Store setup-- Integrations Manual sync (Two way) from the Integration page, Hike requires first name, and Shopify requires either first name, last name, email, or phone. Ensure these details are in Shopify, otherwise will not sync any customer details to Hike |
Item (Product/Inventory): | Auto sync Two-way. Product details are updated when synced. Inventory levels are updated when synced. |
Invoice (Sales): |
Auto sync One way only Hike to Shopify. Full Sales Full sales in Hike sync as at the time of the transaction, displaying each transaction in Shopify as completed. Full sales in Shopify sync as at the time of the transaction, displaying each transaction in Hike as PAID and UNFULFILLED. Fulfillment status has to be changed manually from Shopify. Mark as Pending -> Parked Orders Mark as Pending in Shopify will be shown as Parked Orders in Hike
Shopify sales completed, but need shipping would be marked in Shopify as PENDING. Hike would display this in PARKED ORDERS. Shopify sales completed and shipped will sync as completed. Hike would display this in COMPLETED ORDERS.
