How to create/print purchase order based on your supplier's requirement in Hike.

Printing purchase orders with customized fields helps streamline inventory management and supplier communication. Suppliers may need the Purchase orders to be sent with specific format. With Hike Point of Sale (POS) software, you can create highly tailored purchase orders that suit your business needs. Here’s a quick guide on the available custom fields and how to use them effectively.

Custom Field available for printing are:

1. Product Name: The name of the item you are ordering. (Can not be removed)

2. SKU (Stock Keeping Unit): A unique identifier for the product in your system.

3. Supplier Code: A specific code assigned to each supplier for easy reference.

4. Barcode: The product’s barcode for quick scanning and identification.

5. Ordered: The quantity of the product ordered. (Can not be removed)

6. Rec. (Received): The quantity of the product that has been received.

7. Ret. (Returned): The quantity of the product that has been returned.

8. Cost (Ex. Tax): The cost of the product excluding taxes. (Can not be removed)

9. Tax: The applicable tax amount on the product. (Can not be removed)

10. Cost (Inc. Tax): The total cost of the product, including tax. (Can not be removed)

11. Discount: Any discounts applied to the product purchase.

12. Retail: The retail price at which you plan to sell the product.

13. Rec. $: The total cost of the products received, in monetary terms.

14. Ret. $: The total cost of the products returned, in monetary terms.

15. Total $: The overall total cost of the order after all adjustments. (Can not be removed)

As you can see, 6 sections could not be removed from the format. For the other options, you can edit and create your own customized Purchase order email.

Steps to Customize Your Purchase Order:

1.       Open the purchase order you wish to print.

2.       Choose the Fields You Want: Use the customization options to add or remove fields from the purchase order. Tick the options you wish to view in print order.

3.       Click on save button and than ‘save & print’.

4.       Preview and Print: Once completed, preview the purchase order to ensure accuracy, then print it.

 

Please note if all the custom options are ticked, the SKU and barcode would appear under product name column.

If all the options are unticked, the SKU and supplier code would be mentioned in separate column.
