How to integrate Clover Lloyds Cardnet devices with Hike
Hike integrates with Clover Lloyds Cardnet in United Kingdom at the moment. The device supported are Clover Mini and Clover Flex.
Hike and Clover Lloyds Cardnet integration offers businesses a seamless and efficient payment solution.

Please follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Important:
1. You will need to create an account with the Clover Lloyds Cardnet first where you can log in with your username and password. Once logged in, you need to install Hike app within your Clover Lloyds Cardnet account. The connection between Hike and Clover Lloyds Cardnet is based on this app ID.
2. Hike device and Clover Lloyds Cardnet device must be connected to same internet source to work.
Log
in your Hike account, go to Store setup >> Payment types >> Add Payment Type.
A new window will slide out for adding a new payment type.
Here, select Clover Lloyds Cardnet as payment type > click “Save".
You can choose to apply the payment to all registers or a specific one.
We also recommend you to name them differently if you use multiple Clover Lloyds Cardnet payment terminal/devices in your store.
Once
above payment type is created, you will see the configuration window
open on the Payment Types list.
Now, please click on "Configuration required" for the Clover Lloyds Cardnet payment type and a new window will open.
Please click on Connect and the system will automatically display the Merchant ID of the device which is connected to the same network as Hike.
On this you will see all the devices available under your Clover Lloyds Cardnet account. You can select the device you wish to connect with Hike from the drop-down. Once the device is selected, click on PAIR and complete the set-up.
You will see the Clover Lloyds Cardnet device configured and ready to use for payment after pairing is successful.
How to use the Clover Lloyds Cardnet payment device to process a sale on Hike.
Once the Clover Lloyds Cardnet payment type is configured, you will be able to see that option on the Payment page at the end of the sale.
Once Clover Lloyds Cardnet is selected here, you will need to complete the payment on your Clover Lloyds Cardnet device by using Swipe or tap and pay options.
Once the payment is done on the Clover Lloyds Cardnet device, the sale will automatically completed in Hike.
You will also find Clover Lloyds Cardnet receipt attached with Hike sale receipt at the end. This could be handed over to customer.
As per your region, the Clover Lloyds Cardnet payment type is already available on the Payment types list within Hike iPad application.
This list is available under Settings >> Payment types.
Click on Configure Now and a new windows will slide out to complete the payment integration.
This page will ask you to enter Connection URL
This details will be found from your Clover Lloyds Cardnet device. Please navigate to Network Pay Display and then on the next page, you will find these details to be entered in Hike.
Once the correct data from the Clover Lloyds Cardnet device is added to the Configuration page, you will need to enter the pairing code for the device and the connection will be 'Ready to use'.
You
can use the Toggle button to activate or de-activate the Clover Lloyds Cardnet payment type on iPad as per your requirement.
The payment type will be available on iPad when completing a payment for the sale.
