Hike allows you to have control on the manual discount amount that your cashiers can offer. The relevant settings are under Users permission. Navigate to Users >>> Users >>> Search for the desired user >>> Actions >>> Permissions >>> Point of sale >>> Process sale.

After ticking this option, when the cashier user sets the product or order discount manually in the sale cart, Hike will not allow him to set the price lower than the cost price on the product page. When he does this, a window will pop up to ask for the confirmation from a manager or admin user.

The manager or admin user can complete the authorisation of selling the product at such price by inputting his PIN on the next page.
