You can set up and manage Quick Sale Layout on the computer and use the same layout at any register or outlet. Please note, that one layout can be used in only one register at a time.
2) How to access the Sale Layout on the POS screen:
The layout that you created above will be accessible on the POS screen. To view that, navigate to Point of Sale > Process Sale.
Here is a quick snapshot of how it will look for your reference:
You just need to select the products from that screen and add them to the cart to speed up the checkout process.
3) How to active/inactive the Sale Layout:
Quick Sale Layout functionality is enabled by default when it is created but can be disabled at any time without losing your saved layouts. To disable quick sale layouts for a specific desktop register, navigate to Point of Sale > POS Layout > Search for the Layout you wish to inactive, and toggle the layout button off under ACTIVE column. To enable it again, click the toggle to turn it back on.
4) How to Save & Duplicate the Sale Layout:
To create multiple layouts with similar products more efficiently, you can Save & Duplicate an existing sale layout by navigating to Point of Sale > POS Layout.
5) How to unselect the current Sale Layout:
To unselect the current sale layout from the POS screen, go to Point of Sale > POS Layout > Click on Unselect the current layout to remove the layout from the POS screen.
Unselecting the current layout will not remove the layout from the list. You can select it anytime to use them on the POS screen.
6) How to delete the Sale Layout:
To delete the sale layout completely from the list, navigate to Point of Sale > POS Layout > Search for the layout you wish to delete. Then, click on “Unselect the current layout” and Hit the cancel icon to remove it.
7) How to create folders in the Sale Layout:
If there are multiple products in the layout then, you can also categorize them by creating a folder on the same layout.
For instance, in the screenshot below, there are five products, out of which two products are Shorts and two products are Jackets. So we can categorize them by creating folders.
To categorize them in one folder, you just need to drag the product to one tile. You can check the screenshot below where you can see a folder named “Jackets” and “Shorts”. The number mentioned in the folder defines the number of products available in that folder.
The same layout will be visible on the POS screen. You can click on the folder to view products associated with that folder.
8) How to edit the folder in the Sale Layout:
You can edit the folder name and set the folder color of your choice by navigating to Point of Sale > POS Layout > Open the layout > Click on the folder created > Hit the pencil icon > Edit.
9) How to set background color of the tile in the Sale Layout:
To change the background color of the tile, go to Point of Sale > POS Layout > Open the created layout and click anywhere on the product tile to open the edit slider as shown in the screenshot below:
