Hike POS
allows you to easily collect payments for on-account sales by sending your
customers a secure online payment link via email using HikePay.
This
feature is especially useful when customers prefer to pay later or remotely.
When is this feature applicable?
This
functionality works when the setting “Allow customers to pay for on-account
sales online with HikePay Payments” is enabled.
To enable this setting:
- Visit Hikepay section
- Navigate to Settings
- Enable the option: “Allow customers to pay for on-account sales online with HikePay
Payments”
How it works
Once
enabled, you can send a payment link to your customers while processing a sale
or from sales history.
Option 1: Send payment link during a sale
- Complete the sale as On-Account
- Click on Email button
- Tick the option “Email a
receipt with pay link”
- Enter the customer’s email
address
- Send the email
Option 2: Send payment link from Sales History
- Go to Sales History
- Open the required sale
- Click on Email
- Tick “Email a receipt
with pay link”
- Enter email address and send
Understanding the Payment Links Report
Hike POS
allows you to track and manage all payment links created through HikePay in one
place. This helps you monitor payment status and access important transaction
details.
To access Payment Links, Go to HikePay from
the main menu and click on Payment
Links tab.
The
Payment Links page provides a detailed overview of all generated payment links
with the following information:
Filters
You can
filter payment links based on their status:
All: Displays all payment
links
Active: Payment links that are
still valid and awaiting payment
Completed: Payment links where
payment has been successfully made
Deactivated: Payment links that are no
longer active
Payment Link Details
Each
payment link includes the following columns:
Link: Unique payment link
generated for the sale. You can click on it to view or copy the link.
Reference: Sale reference number
associated with the payment.
From: Indicates the source of the
link (e.g., Sale).
Created Date: Date and time when the
payment link was generated.
Location: Store location where the
sale was created.
Status: Current status of the
payment link (Active, Completed, or Deactivated).
Amount: Total amount to be paid by
the customer.

Customer clicks on the payment
link in email
They are redirected to a
secure payment page
Customer completes payment
using available payment methods
